3 Reasons Not to Wear Cheap Jewellery At A Club

3 Reasons Not to Wear Cheap Jewellery At A Club

Have you ever tried walking into a club and noticed nobody wears jewellery?  Obviously, good jewellery is an instant elevator of status.  Let me tell you the main reason…it’s because people who wear jewellery give a genuine vibe.  There is no place in the club for fake or cheap jewellery.  So, here’s the first reason.

1st reason: People can tell the difference

Imagine two people: one wearing a cheap gold-plated ring, and one wearing an 18ct gold sovereign ring.  There is a certain confidence that radiates from a person who has status.  Cheap trickery can’t get you there.  It’s sleezy.  It’s grimy…but when a person has the real thing, not only do they look the part, but they talk the part.  Don’t be a fraud - wear the type of confidence you want to irradiate.

2nd reason: You’ll lose all credibility

If you wear cheap jewellery, you’re relying on cheap tricks to fool people.  A high value piece of jewellery gives the wearer confidence.  They don’t have to lie about it.  They don’t have to trick.  They don’t look suspicious when asked about their jewellery.  You don’t want to be found out for wearing fake Nike’s, and it is the exact same scenario with jewellery.  YOU WILL lose all credibility if you wear fake jewellery.  It is always best to have the real thing.  Besides, the last thing you want is people to see green stains on your neck from cheap jewellery.

3rd reason: Be genuine

People who buy real jewellery have a genuineness about them.  You see them in the club.  You know they are a somebody.  They are genuine.  The risk of losing credibility is so high in social situations that people will choose not to wear jewellery.  So when somebody looks the part, it’s because they are ‘the part’.  So, you’re probably thinking, “how do I become the part?”  Let me explain.

How to use jewellery to build your vibe

The answer is simple.  You need to buy a piece of jewellery that highlights your look and feel, and here’s why.

What look you are communicating:

  • Are you looking for power?
  • Are you looking for style?
  • Are you looking for confidence?

Power

To communicate power for a man a sovereign ring will say “I have power and I am not afraid to use it.”  Sovereign rings have an old history and it’s also a sign that you collect powerful things, such as sovereign gold coins.

Style

This depends on your fashion choices.  If you have a fun vibe, you will certainly want a Cuban or Rope chain, along with a gold donut ring, or box ring.  These need to be coordinated with your fashion choice but will complement any attire suited to the nightclub vibe.  If you are wearing a suit, you may want to style smaller rings, such as a signet ring, with gold cufflinks, a gold tie bar or tie clip.  With suit attire, less is more.

Confidence

To portray true confidence, anything with diamonds will achieve this, but most will choose different coloured diamonds.  Bigger is better, whether it is the gems or the jewellery.  Most will tell you not to look tacky, which is why it gives you the “I am confidence” vibe.  The idea is to be seen, and true confidence comes from within.  Wearing things which are controversial is a sign of confidence.

Good or Bad Jewellery

By now you’re wondering, how do I know the jewellery is good or bad?

Simple, bad choices are made when you settle and lower your standards.  Usually this means going for the cheap option or buying fake gems.  It’s always better to buy the more expensive gems, or to invest in more detailed pieces.  The small subtleties make or break your look.

What gemstone do I get?

Diamonds are the best.  Coloured diamonds are second and add as artistic and confident.  If you cannot afford these but are set on having gemstones in your jewellery, you can also buy CZs (Cubic Zirconias).  They look the part, but they’re cheap.
