Returns Policy

 

The returns policy is in relation to Monjier Limited - a limited liability company registered in New Zealand.

Should you decide to return a product, refer to our Returns Policy outlined below:

  1. If the item received is faulty, we may repair, replace, or refund the item.  This will be determined by the nature of the fault.
  2. If you have a change of mind, subject to our Terms and Conditions (where eligible), you may return eligible items within the specified timeframes.

 

How to Return Your Items:

Refer to the following guidelines:

  • Items will be returned with original product tags attached, and all relevant paperwork, including but not limited to, certificates or instruction booklets.

In-Store Purchases

If your purchase occurred in-store, visit a boutique based in the country of purchase.  We will initiate the returns process.  You must provide the original receipt.

Online Purchases: There are two returns processes if your purchase occurred online:

  1. In-Store Return: Visit a boutique based in the country of purchase.  We will initiate the returns process.  You must provide a printed copy of your online tax invoice or order fulfilment email.
  2. Postal Return:  Contact our Customer Services team at admin@monjier.com.  Our team will provide you with the instructions required for a return.  They will answer any queries you have.  We require the following to begin the process:
  • Order number
  • Contact details
  • Reason for return

All shipping charges must be pre-paid before we can accept them; we do not accept cash on delivery.  We advise that, when shipping your items, you consider insurance for the return shipment as we cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage which may occur, as a result.  Our team will provide you with all the details of what you should include in your return delivery inside the package.  For your reference, these are physical copies of the following:

  • Shipping confirmation email, or
  • order confirmation email

All details will be provided to you upon contacting our team.

 

Until the item is securely delivered to us, you bear responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur.  We will not refund or reimburse any expenses related to the return, such as shipping or insurance charges, unless the item is deemed faulty.

 

Return Assessment and Processing:

Inspection and assessment will be undertaken by our Store or Quality Assurance teams.  Items may be sent to our Head Office for further evaluation.  Returns and refunds are processed according to the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, any additional legal requirements, in addition to Monjier's Terms and Conditions.  Where applicable, your refund, repair, or replacement will be completed within reasonable timeframes.

 

Refund Method

Your refund will be provided as per the method used to purchase your items and will be for the value of the item/s returned only (we will not cover shipping for non-faulty items).  If a payment was made through cash, then you will be refunded via debit or credit card, in the original purchaser’s name.

 

Returns Policy

Unfortunately, our returns policy does not apply to the items if they have been specially ordered, sized, engraved, or altered.  Due to hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept earrings or body jewellery for return (nose studs, belly bars, labrets, or eyebrow body jewellery).

Your return must meet the below requirements to be eligible for a return.

  • Returned in-store within 30 days of purchase or despatch for online orders.
  • "As New Condition," accompanied by proof of purchase, original packaging, and all relevant paperwork.
  • "As New Condition" means the item must be unworn and in pristine condition without any damage, scratches, or signs of wear. The determination of whether an item meets the definition of "As New Condition" rests solely with Monjier.

 

Please note that our Returns Policy is in addition to your legal entitlement and existing rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
